Royal Canadian Sea Cadets is a youth program for boys and girls aged 12 to 18 and is delivered in partnership by The Navy League of Canada and the Department of National Defence. The Sea Cadet program is an exciting program, delivered in a naval environment, that provides opportunities and challenges relevant for today’s youth.

The program fosters the development of leadership skills, good citizenship and physical fitness. Activities include participating  in community parades and events, marksmanship, seamanship, drill, first aid, band, guard, sailing, citizenship, leadership, sports, orienteering, rope work, ship’s operations and small craft operations. While the program introduces cadets to ‘what’ the Navy is all about, Cadets are not members of the Canadian Forces and are free to leave the program at any time.

The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Corps Invincible primarily serves the communities of Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Mission although there are no restrictions, limitations or catchment areas in regards to membership. All interested youth are welcome.

RCSCC Invincible meets during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the basement of the Royal Canadian Legion in Maple Ridge.  For more information on RCSCC Invincible or the Sea Cadet Youth Program select About Us on the menu tabs above.

Feel free to Contact Us if you have any questions or are interesting in joining.
