Illustrious

Illustrious is the ship’s band.

Illustrious, like most of the ship’s divisions, is named after an aircraft carrier. In this case, HMS Illustrious of the British Navy, currently operating as a helicopter/assault carrier. Illustrious is of a line of high-end warships commissioned for the United Kingdom, beginning with two 74-gun third rate sailing ships, a Majestic class battleship, an Illustrious class aircraft carrier, and the current Invincible class carrier.

The band practices at the “H Hut” at the Albion Fairgrounds, across the parking lot from Planet Ice, 23588 105 Ave, Maple Ridge (map) from 1900-2100 on Monday nights.
