High School Credits
BC high school students can earn credits towards graduation for their membership in Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. You can apply to your school to receive up to six credits per year for grades 10-12 by if you meet the following criteria:
UXCA 10 (Cadet 10 – 4 Credits) – Successfully complete Phase III training or a six-week summer trade group or specialty summer training course;
UXCA 11 (Cadet 11 – 4 Credits) – Successfully complete Phase IV training or a six-week summer trade group or specialty training course or staff cadet;
UXCA 12 (Cadet 12 – 4 Credits) – Successfully complete Phase V or successfully complete a six-week summer trade group or specialty training course or staff cadet;
Note: Where a six-week course has been used for Cadet 11 credit, a second six-week course must be completed for Cadet 12 credit.
If you qualify, the Admin Officer will provide you with a letter to take to school to apply for these credits.
